I am a grant writer with 38 years of experience based in the Salisbury area. I have done work in the Crisfield area. My primary work is with municipalities, fire departments, and police departments. I also do training in grant writing. I have received over $140,000,000 in funds for clients in the fields of fire protection, law enforcement, water and sewer, street work, economic development, historic preservation, heritage tourism, and parks and recreation. If you are not aware of it, I would like to let you know about the Assistance to Firefighters Grant which is administered by FEMA. The application period, which comes only once a year, is open now until January 15. They will provide 95% of the project cost for either equipment or fire engines.
